Barmageddon is back with an all-new season of round of rowdy bar games played by celebrity guests.

Blake Shelton and Carson Daly came up with the unique idea for Barmageddon while working together on the set of the singing competition show, The Voice. Their inspiration was based around the hilarious movie, The Hangover, and from there, it evolved into a wildly popular game show featuring some of their closes celebrity friends.

The inaugural season premiered on December 5, 2022, and was dubbed USA’s most-watched unscripted freshman series in almost three years across all platforms. Now, the creative minds behind the project, Shelton and Daly, have returned with even more fun-filled games, loud antics, and celebrity appearances by Jelly Roll, Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, and many more.

“They say you never get a second chance to make a first impression, then USA gave us more Barmageddon‘s and we are gonna bring it,” Daly said with enthusiasm in a new promo video.

Television personality and Wrestling Hall of Famer Nikki Garcia will reclaim her role as host of the brand-new season. The show once again takes place in front of members of a live audience who pulled the lucky straw and got the chance to watch the all the fun take place from inside Blake Shelton’s bar, Ole Red.

How Does The Show Work?

Each week, the Broadway bar and live music venue will welcome a whole new group of celebrity friends who will go head-to-head in a series of classic bar games that feature a fun twist. Many of the fan-favorite games from last season will return including Air Cannon Cornhole, Keg Curling, Drunken Axe Hole, Sharts (“Shelton Darts”) and more. Plus, a set of brand-new bar games have also be added into the mix such as Fool’s Ball, Tic Tac Throwdown and Talk Derby to Me.

The competition pits a pair of celebrities against each other in a set of five games located throughout the bar. Their goal is to take home the much-needed prize that will go towards a viral internet sensation that they have each chosen to support. Things start to heat up when the losing player of each round gets a chance to even the score by spinning the Wheel of Redemption. While this has the potential of being a game-changing move, it could result in some hilarious consequences.

Ultimately, the triumphant team takes home a prize while the losing celebrity must accept their unfortunate defeat. Luckily, in Barmageddon, no matter who wins and who loses, everyone has fun along the way.
